How This Works

Welcome to the Careers int the Arts Online Dialogue. This dialogue is seeking to determine the most critical needs for education/training, best practices, and resources to advance employment opportunities for people with disabilities across all artistic disciplines, including artists and other cultural workers.

Step 1

To participate in the Careers in the Arts Online Dialogues, you must first Log In using your email and password from our past dialogues. If you are new to the dialogues and this is your first engagement, please Register. The Log In and Register links are located at the top right-hand corner of each dialogue page. An image of the Log In and Register links are shown below:

Step 2

Once you have logged in, you can access the Careers in the Arts Online Dialogue Topics by clicking on one of the dialogue topic buttons highlighted in the middle of the page. An image of the dialogue topic buttons are shown below:

You can post your ideas to the dialogue by clicking the Submit New Idea button. An image of the Submit New Idea button is shown below:

Step 4

If you would like to submit an idea, click on the Submit New Idea button and then fill out the idea form. An image of the idea form is shown below:

  1. In the pop up box that appears on your screen, type in a title that describes your idea in the "Title" field.
  2. Type in the details you would like to include about your idea in the "Description" field.
  3. Click the "Submit" button to post your idea to the dialogue. Please note that the "Title," "Description," and "Topic," fields are mandatory, so you must complete all three items in order for your idea to successfully post.

Additional Information

To read an idea, simply click on the idea title. To vote on an idea, simply click the up arrow for "yes" or the down arrow for "no". The arrows are located to the right of the idea in each individual idea box as highlighted in the image below. To submit a comment, fill in the box below the idea and click submit.
